Streaming Service For Warren Wilson Walker

Warren Wilson Walker was born in Savannah, Georgia to Henry Walker Senior and Bernice Walker on September 2, 1950. Warren grew up in Savannah. He attended elementary and secondary school in the public schools of Savannah.

In September of 1968, Warren began his college studies at Savannah University. In the spring of 1972, Warren interrupted his studies by joining the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, he married Patricia Hill, whom he met when they both were students at Savannah State University. They were married on August 16, 1972. He served in the Navy on the aircraft carrier The Saratoga as a Disbursing Clerk. The Saratoga was situated in the Gulf of Tonkin off the coast of Viet Nam, from September of 1972 until March 1973. From March 1973 until April 1974 the aircraft carrier was dry docked in Portsmouth, Virginia, where Warren continued to service on the aircraft carrier.

In April 1974, the Saratoga was ported in Mayport, Florida. In the fall of 1974 the carrier was stationed in the Mediterranean. Warren served there until he was discharged from the Navy in the spring of 1975.

Upon leaving the Navy, Warren returned to Savannah State University, where he completed his studies, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, in August of 1976.

In the winter of 1977, Warren took a position with the Bureau of Prisons in Miami and relocated there. On May 25, 1981, more joy came into Warren and Pat’s life when their son, Quincy was born.

After retiring, Warren and Pat moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in the summer of 2012, where they lived happily until his passing on June 2, 2025.

Warren will forever be loved and remembered by his wife, Patricia H. Walker, his son, Quincy P. Walker (Maire Bridget), his two granddaughters, Zelya Lilly and Siobhan Walker, Brother Henry L. Walker (Anne), Woodbridge, Virginia; Brother Paul E. Walker (Cecilia) Newman, Georgia; Ruth Teasley God Sister, Savannah, Georgia; Barbara Pulliam God Sister, Augusta, Georgia; Jeanie M Burkes (Samuel) Sister in Law Atlanta, Georgia; Michael K Washington (Kitty), Brother in Law Macon, Georgia; Brady Preston (Verlene) Brother in Law, Fayetteville, North Carolina; Tonja Chapple Sister in Law, Stamford, Connecticut Sister in Law and many more nieces, nephews, family and friends.
