A celebration of life for Juan Lugo. Juan was born on July 29th, 1945, in Ponce Puerto Rico to Mother Ana Rivera and Father Eliseo Lugo Torres. Brother to 13 siblings. Juan was an American Patriot who served his country in the Army Military Branch from November 12th, 1965. He served in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in the Vietnam War, known as Black Horse. He achieved the classification as E-4, Specialist Artillery. Honorably Discharged on March 17th, 1967. Not soon after he met the love of his life, Estela de la
Caridad Corrales who soon married on November 7th, 1969. Juan became a father to daughters CarrieAnn Lugo and Maria del Pilar Lugo in 1970 and 1971. His dedication to serve his country was evident with his career in the U.S. Postal Service and his Voluntary Duty as a Voluntary Fire Fighter for the White Plains Fire Department. He further instilled pride of duty and patriotism in his daughters in every Memorial Day Parade, Flag Day and other Parades in the Community. His love and dedication to family went beyond his own family, molding several pillars in the community. He left no child behind before there was a slogan for it. Juan was a truly amazing man full of passion both at home and career. He
was a caring devoted husband, father, brother and uncle who was loved by all who knew him. He was a truly blessed soul who will forever be in our hearts and souls.
Juan Lugo is survived by his wife, Estela Lugo and two daughters, CarrieAnn Lugo and Maria Lugo Ortiz, Grandfather to James DeGroat III, Chelsea Morland and Catalina Ortiz, Great Grandfather to Shawn Moreland, Neal Stevens and Jordan Moreland Junior, all who will forever love and miss him dearly.
Memorial Service will be held at the Aycock Funeral Home in Port Saint Lucie Florida on March 24th, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST via link or in person at 1504 S Floresta Drive, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34983
