Jessie T Gray, age 90, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Jessica Tyson Gray was born to Herman and Anna Tyson on June 3, 1932 in Greenville, North Carolina. Later in like, she moved to Connecticut and attend a 2 year college where she received an associate degree in cosmetology and became a professional hair stylist.

Jessica met David in New York in 1976 and later relocated to Delray Beach, Florida resulting in marriage on November 30, 1978. After moving to Fort pierce, Florida 2004 Jessica retired and lived a quiet life with her beloved husband David until she moved to her new home in glory with her Lord and Savior Jesus February 15, 2023.

Jessica was formerly a member of Redemptive Life Fellowship in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she served as a minister and a member of the choir. Jessica’s greatest accomplishment was when she gave her life to god whom she loved with all her heart. She had a love for life, her husband (David), her family and enjoyed reminiscing with the girls about the good old days during our Family Gatherings, which took place every year. She loved to travel, meet new people and left a lasting impression upon all she met. Her smiles was like a ray of sunshine that would lift and brighten and gloomy day.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Anna Tyson: son, Linwood Jones, brothers: Herman Tyson (Everlyn), Ola Ray Tyson, Charlie J. Tyson (Margie), sisters: Rosa L. Staton and Lillis M. Flowers.

Jessica leaves to cherish memories: her beloved husband David Gray Fort Pierce, Florida, sons: Charles Tyson (Jackie) Charlotte, North Carolina, Aaron Gray of Bronx, NY, Jerimal Gray of Richmond, Virginia; daughters: Barbara Augburn of Hampaton, Virginia, Peggy Hagans of Winterville, North Carolina, Shelly Washington of Beacon, NY; In-laws, Gerogia Hampton, Howard Hall, Joseph Hall, Joanne Gamble-Ollarvia, Michael Gamble; grandchildren, great grandchildren, god-children, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

A visitation for Jessie Gray will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service for Jessie Gray will occur Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A committal service for Jessi T. Gray will occur Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754.
